Solving grand challenges will require shifting away from existing, sector-based STI policy to one enabling the transformation of the entire social structure. This free Zoom webinar will first review past attempts and lessons learned from the Japanese and European experience and then introduce the concept and tools of technology assessment in the international context, notably the EU’s Mission Oriented Innovation Policy (MOIP), to consider how such a transformative STI policy can be achieved.
