Abstract 本特論は、グローバルヘルスにおける主な課題と論点の理解と理論的背景を概説するとともに、政策課題の分析と解釈のための実践的演習を行う。グローバルヘルスの第一線で活躍する外部講師による特別講義も適宜実施し、理論と実践の双方を習得する。扱うテーマは、保健医療制度と皆保険(UHC)、疾病負担(GBD)、リスク因子分析、慢性疾患(NCDs)、保健財政、保健サービス、保健制度パフォーマンス分析、保健と外交政策等である。

This course introduces the principles and theories of major global health challenges and discusses current controversies in improving global population health, as well as practical applications of quantitative methods to analyze and interpret issues and challenges for policy. Topics will include: health systems and universal health coverage (UHC), burden of disease, comparative risk factor analysis, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), population aging, health financing, health service quality, health system performance assessment, and health and foreign policy.
